First up is the movie Keith. I know it's a story that has been done before, and somewhat predictable, but who knew that Jesse McCartney could actually act????? It took me by surprise. So go rent it or borrow it from your local library and come back and tell me what you think.
My recent CD purchase - or rather gift - is 'A Twist In My Story' by Secondhand Serenade. I'm sure everyone has heard 'Fall For You', and the rest of the album is equally as great. I love listening to this while sewing.
I love my local library. Not just because it's right around the block, but because it is a reciprocal library, so I have access to tons of material. I can reserve everything online and they send it to MY library, and it's all free of charge. You can't beat that!! I just finished reading 'Flirting With Forty' by Jane Porter. I read a small portion in an old Redbook (I think) magazine and I finally remembered I wanted to read the entire book. It's an easy read. Nothing TOO deep. **On a side note, I recently realized that Lifetime made this movie with Heather Locklear in the lead role. If that's not bad enough - Heather in no way resembles the description in the book - they also totally destroyed any vision the author had of the male lead. Dark, sun-streaked hair, dark skin and tattoos, blue-eyed hunk of a Hawaiian surfer dude named Kai. But for the movie they have this spray-on-tan white beefcake named Kyle. Kyle.
